Tikhomel – center of Bolokhiv’s Land
There is a village of Tikhomel on the hill above the Horin river. It is situated to the north-west of Izyaslav. Despite the fact that nothing can remind us about the past times when Tikhomil was the town of princes, this place has a unique magic.
It could be the magic of its glorious history with its first mention in 1152 or the remembrance of its famous knight King Halitsky Danilo Romanovich who lived there.
